Rex Lee, a technology journalist and cybersecurity adviser at ‘My Smart Privacy,’ joined NTD to offer his expertise.
He says that not only does the hardware provide back doors, but the permissions for software from third parties also create security gaps.
He says the progression of data mining has gone from consumer-oriented development to advertising to targeted political campaigns and now to military use, indicating a slippery slope.
