Michael Gilkey, MS, MBA is a Research Health Scientist at the VA Northeast Ohio Health System and Director of Research Operations, Emory Precision AI for Health Institute (EmPAthI) at Emory University. He serves as a technical resource and advisor on research and regulatory issues with Emory and the VA, creates submissions and maintains compliance with Institutional Review Board (IRB) regulations, submits technology transfer paperwork, submits data use agreements, acquires images and clinical data and maintains project databases for the various research projects within the VA Hub for Computer Vision and Machine Learning in Precision Oncology (CoMPL), and organizes and supports the research team’s grant application efforts and post-award management of research milestones.

Christopher Ritter is the Director of the Digital Innovation Center of Excellence and the Department Manager of Digital Engineering at Idaho National Laboratory. He currently leads digital engineering on the Versatile Test Reactor, National Reactor Innovation Center, and NNSA digital twin programs. His expertise is in software engineering, systems engineering, leading software teams, systems engineering software integration, and cloud architectures. Before coming to INL, he was Director of Software Development at SPEC Innovations in Manassas, Virginia. He served as the Chief Architect of Innoslate, a popular systems engineering tool that leverages elastic cloud technologies and AI/NLP for high scalability and advanced analytics

Joe Boland has held sales leadership roles in the Federal IT industry for over 15 years. Joe is currently the Senior Sales Director of the Federal Division at Box. Having been in this role for 6 years at Box, Joe has seen the adoption of the Box Content Cloud grow exponentially in Federal over that time, including deployments across many of the largest Civilian and DoD agencies. Before joining Box, Joe worked in senior leadership roles at Oracle, IBM and SAS Institute. Joseph graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and earned an MBA from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.
