Shanker partners with C-suite leaders to align tech with business outcomes, helping them accelerate value realization from their digital investments. Earlier in this career, Shanker was head of transformation for Financial Services at Infosys. He has led several global programs in automation, data-platform modernization and advanced analytics for FS clients across the globe, delivering impactful business outcomes. Shanker is a recognized voice on data and AI governance, having spent several years in helping clients hone these capabilities.

John leads Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) worldwide market development efforts for the Financial Services industry. In this role, he is responsible for the development and execution of AWS’s strategic initiatives across a range of financial sectors including banking, payments, capital markets, and insurance. He works with these organizations to help them transform their existing businesses and bring new, innovative solutions to market by leveraging AWS services. John has more than 20 years of experience developing solutions for capital markets companies. Before joining AWS, he led the Global Transaction Surveillance Program for J.P. Morgan’s Investment Bank, where he headed the coordination and execution of strategy, technology delivery, and governance to address the organization’s regulatory mandates. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan, John ran NASDAQ’s high-frequency execution, real-time market risk, and reporting services with responsibility for product strategy, development, and operations

Christi Deakin serves as the worldwide leader for Financial Services strategic partnerships. She brings strategic thought partnership to customers to transform their businesses with innovation and cloud technology with AWS services and partners. Prior to AWS, Christi worked in venture capital and advisory for FinTech across business model, product fit and expansion, go-to-market strategy, customer support, and operational scaling. Christi served as the Chief Strategy Officer for a top 3 US Bank. She led growth strategies for consumer, payments, and credit card; industry vertical strategy for commercial banking; comprehensive 3-year strategic planning; prioritization of project and investment spend; portfolio analysis of the company; and critical risk management efforts. Previously, Christi built and led the US Wealth and Investment Management consulting practice for KPMG. She is a Certified Public Accountant.
