Okta: Your Journey to the Cloud Operating Model

Tuesday, July 14, 2:00-3:00 PM ET

With recent nationwide work-from-home initiatives, we understand it's not business as usual so TechTalk Summits is taking events to a whole new level -- virtual and interactive.
Your Journey to the Cloud Operating Model
Historical approaches to access management no longer work in a world where infrastructure resources dynamically spin up & down, and may only last for weeks, days, or even minutes. More organizations are adopting DevOps automation patterns to provision infrastructure as code, but what about the security implications?
In this session, we will discuss the changes with the cloud operating model, and how to automate key identity & access controls across fleets of dynamic, multi-cloud infrastructure, enabling secure velocity at scale.
Ivan Dwyer is a member of the Product Marketing team at Okta. Previously with ScaleFT, he led all things Product, Marketing & Community. As an early advocate for Zero Trust across the security industry, Ivan was a leading voice in promoting Google’s BeyondCorp initiative, one of the marquee examples of Zero Trust done right. Since joining Okta, Ivan has let the team in on his obscure alter ego as a prominent historian and collector of rare Brazilian jazz records from the '60s to today.
Following the presentation, join your host and award-winning sommelier, Rachel DeAmbrose, on the patio to learn about the wine selection we’ll send you for attending.
Rachel attended the International Culinary Center in New York City for Intensive Sommelier Training and achieved Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. She continued training as an intern for a single vintage grower in Champagne, France before returning to the US to accept a position as a wine steward at world renowned Bern's Steak House.
Rachel was quickly promoted to Assistant Sommelier and soon after Sommelier, the first woman and youngest sommelier in Bern’s history, making her way through the vast James Beard award winning wine cellar of rare and extremely sought after vintages. She now hosts private wine events globally at venues hand-picked for their wine cellars.
